Smart Kids offers the #1 SUMMER TECH CAMP in 5 locations throughout Trinidad & Tobago. We focus on STEM/STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts & Mathematics) activities that build future-relevant skills so our kids can take advantage of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Smart Kids has been able to position itself as a leader in STEM Education because our ultimate goal is not to simply deliver one-time, feel-good workshops that get kids excited about STEM. Instead our ultimate goal is to ensure that STEM is embedded into the daily curriculum of our T&T Schools. We have developed STEM Club, a 7-year modular programme in which students can develop proficiency in key areas of future-relevant skills such as Storytelling, Coding, Robotics and App Development. To date over 40% of all the students we reach have taken two or more courses. Our aim is to ensure that every one of our 200,000 youths in T&T have access to future-centred education through STEM and Technology Education.
Thanks to STEM Club we have been able to specialize in the development and delivery of STEM Lesson Plans, Student Workbooks, Teacher Training, Workshops and Tech Camps. Since January 2016 we have introduced over 2000 children to STEM through our Saturday and After School STEM Club, Summer Tech Camps and partnerships with Chuck E. Cheese, Methanex and bmobile.
