Since 1970 Smith’s Waterproofing has been a leader in the construction field, primarily focusing on surface preparation, concrete restoration, bridge & road overlays, and waterproofing. Originally started as a commercial and residential waterproofing company, Smith’s has evolved to working in heavy civil, municipal, DOT, industrial, military, and mining. We have also completed numerous projects for the Army Corp of Engineers, Airforce, and National Guard. Smith’s success has been in part to finding and keeping employees with excellent problem solving skills, great work ethic, and the ability to work on a variety of projects. We have worked on over 1,000 bridges in Michigan, with our work ranging from shotblasting/ surface preparation, overlays, concrete repair, crack injection, and carbon fiber reinforcement.
