SMK Building and Maintenance started trading in 1991 and after a period of sustained growth became a private limited company in 2002. Since then our portfolio of clients has continued to grow based on our commitment to quality and service and we now employ over 100 staff working from our main office and depot in Barry, situated in the Vale of Glamorgan between the cities of Swansea and Cardiff. We have developed highly skilled and motivated fitting teams for our clients which are allowing us to deliver planned programmes Gas Boiler / Heating upgrades and Renewals Kitchen Improvement, Replacement and Renewals Bathroom improvement, Replacement and Renewals Electrical uogrades, new installations SMK is focused on providing a multi-trade, one-stop solution for planned works & maintenance services to social housing providers. We have invested heavily in the recruitment and training of appropriately highly skilled operatives, and cutting edge sector IT systems to support this commitment. We have recently made a significant investment in “Locality”, an innovative and leading edge work management software system to provide real time data on repair works and planned maintenance As the company has grown we have developed our capacity to successfully deliver substantial programmes of work and we are looking forward to another period of sustained growth based on our strong reputation and our commitment to delivering quality products and service
