SMU Climb Team aims to share our passion and experiences for climbing with the community, especially within the SMU campus. From sport climbing and bouldering, to climbing natural rock and slack-lining, are just some of the activities our members can take part in. Gravical is the annual bouldering competition organized by the Team, and is growing towards being a part of the international climbing scene.
We have both a competitive and recreational wing, its flexibility allows for those who wish to represent the SMU name in pursuit of success, as well as those who just wish to explore the intrinsic pleasures of the sport. But, we don’t draw lines, as our climbers from both wings climb together regardless of the difference in intensities. That, is our team spirit, our climbing community.
Climbing sessions are held at the SMU Rock Wall [SMU Administrative Building, Level 3 Sports Hall]: Every Tuesday and Friday, 7pm – 9.30pm
