Snotra Sustainability is developing an AI-based SaaS solution to empower the tourism industry by ensuring compliance with EU sustainability policies and industry standards. The platform utilizes voice- and image-driven data collection for compliance reporting and offers decentralized, gamified training to boost overall engagement in sustainability.
Snotra Sustainability was the winner of the X Nordic Travel Contest, organized by Nordic Innovation (part of the Nordic Council of Ministers), and was admitted to KLAK—Icelandic Startups' Startup Tourism Accelerator for further development. The team remains part of KLAK’s alumni network and received a seed grant from Rannís (the Icelandic Centre for Research) to support MVP creation and the development of a go-to-market strategy.
