Founded by Jim Snyder in 2011, Snyder Gas Consulting seeks to fulfill the unmet needs of natural gas operators. SGC works with utilities, public institutions, local operators, and service providers to safely make changes and implement new technology to natural gas infrastructure. With more than 30 years of experience in the natural gas industry, Jim has been able to bring his strong technical background in natural gas pipeline installation and maintenance to offer many different solutions.
Recent federal regulations have created an environment in which natural gas distributors and master meter operators (MMO) need to develop Distribution Integrity Management Programs (DIMP). These programs help distributers and MMOs maintain infrastructure integrity over its lifetime. SNG is proud to not only help develop these programs, but also implement them and assist with the required maintenance called for by the DIMP.
