SOBAC supports farmers, communities, and gardeners with its natural solutions for soil fertility and health. Several solutions are available: organic soil amendment, composting additive for livestock effluents and digestates, additive for anaerobic digestion substrates, crop supports, and seeds. These technologies help farmers optimize the natural fertility of their soils, the quality of their production, yields, animal health and welfare, autonomy, and the overall profitability of their operations. SOBAC operates on the principle that everything starts with the soil. A living soil is a healthy soil, and its humus content is the main indicator of this. While decades of chemical use, erosion, and weathering have degraded soils, SOBAC's solutions demonstrate that it is possible to restore their fertility by increasing humus content. SOBAC offers alternatives to chemical fertilizers in order to protect the environment and stay ahead of future regulatory measures. By working for soil health, SOBAC positions itself as a key player in the food chain by contributing to the enhancement of both plant and animal production. The results of strong partnerships with farmers and economic studies demonstrate that our technologies contribute to the sustainability and profitability of agricultural operations. In 2020, Marcel Mézy Technologies, the foundation of SOBAC's solutions, were labeled by the Solar Impulse Foundation as a profitable and effective solution to combat climate change. As a member of the international ADEME* club, these technologies were presented at the COP21 Paris 2015 conference and were recognized as "true carbon sinks" among the solutions to fight climate change. SOBAC has also committed to the "4 PER 1000" initiative.
