SOCAR Kulevi Terminal Overview

SOCAR Kulevi Terminal – designed for transshipment of hydrocarbons and petrochemical products, is operated by the State Oil company of Azerbaijan. Due to the gradual and constant development from the day of launching its operations on May 16th, 2008, nowadays, the terminal possesses technical infrastructure, as well as experience in transshipment of more than 20 types of liquid oil products and chemicals. The transshipment process itself covers the stages of receiving the goods from the railway / sea vessel, distribution to reservoirs (28 in total), storage (with the total capacity of 407 000 cubic meters) and lastly, transferring them to the sea vessels. Integrated Management System implemented at the terminal guarantees on one hand, the compliance of the Terminal’s operations with every aspect of the legal requirements, applicable international standards and norms and on the other hand, exceptional quality of the services rendered.
