English follows - La Société du droit de reproduction des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs au Canada (SODRAC) est une société de gestion collective qui en musique gère les droits de reproduction des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs d’œuvres musicales en chanson et en œuvres de commande (audiovisuel), et en arts visuels et métiers d’art, gère l’ensemble des droits d’auteur des créateurs qu’elle représente, au Canada et à l’étranger. La société agit au nom de plus de 9000 membres canadiens et représente de façon exclusive au Canada les répertoires de sociétés actives dans plus d’une centaine de territoires étrangers. En musique, le répertoire de la SODRAC compte plus de 10 millions d’œuvres et en arts visuels et métiers d’art, notre société représente au Canada les droits de près de 40 000 artistes et ayants droit de partout dans le monde. ENGLISH SODRAC, the Society for reproduction rights of authors, composer and publishers in Canada, is a collective management society. In the music field, it manages the reproduction rights of authors, composers and publishers of musical works, songs and commissioned works (audiovisual); in the visual arts and crafts field, it manages all copyrights of the creators it represents, in Canada and abroad. The organization acts on behalf of 9,000 Canadian members and represents on an exclusive basis in Canada the repertoires of collective management societies active in more than 100 foreign territories. In the music field, SODRAC’s repertoire includes more than 10 million works; in the visual arts and crafts field, we represent in Canada the rights of approximately 40,000 artists and copyright holders from around the world.
