At Sofina, we design solutions that promote everyday safety for women. Our mission is to shape a softer, more empathetic technological future—one where safety isn’t just about emergencies but also about the small yet significant moments when feelings of unsafety can arise. Our first product, Heart2Heart, is a tech-driven solution consisting of a keychain and a mobile app with a built-in alarm designed to help women feel safer in their daily lives. With Heart2Heart, users can discreetly reach out to trusted contacts for support and receive a calming response through a vibrating heartbeat. This heartbeat symbolizes care and materializes a sense of presence, even when the user is physically alone. Heart2Heart is built on extensive research and both qualitative and quantitative data collection, providing us with a deep understanding of our users' needs. Our team—comprised of three women with backgrounds in digital design and entrepreneurship—works closely to ensure that our products reflect the real experiences and challenges many women face when navigating public spaces. We believe that feminism and technology can go hand in hand to create a better and more inclusive future for everyone.
