Solar Team Great Britain is a brand new British team building a solar-powered car to compete in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2017.
We are aiming to design, build and race a solar-powered car across Australia in October 2017 and along the way we hope to show off the very best of British engineering and innovation.
We want the project to inspire and engage students and young professionals to apply their talents into sustainability – and thereby secure the future for us all.
And, of course, we want to win. Our aim is to take first place in Cruiser Class 2017.
