Dianne Mueller and her staff at Soma Small Business Solutions help small business entrepreneurs keep their financial position up front and center in their business.
Soma Small Business Solutions was established in 1997 in North Vancouver, providing professional outsourced bookkeeping with full-cycle accounting and payroll services. Soma had earned a reputation as a reliable and knowledgeable source of bookkeeping help until retirement in 2022.
Dianne also provides controller-ship services for a diverse client base. Being a small business owner and having worked in public practice and large corporate accounting environments, she can communicate effectively with business owners, their accountants and bookkeepers, and the Canada Revenue Agency.
Hello! I am honoured to be an instructor for Trifold Bookkeeper Advisors, and hopeful that I will meet you in one of our upcoming courses. I promise to bring all of my 35 years of small business bookkeeping experience to every class and pass on my knowledge, advice, solutions and sometimes the frustrations of the profession.
I have been blessed with many industry recognitions, including:

• CPB Canada’s Fellowship Award (2015) and Distinguished Service Award (2018),

• Sage’s Circle of Excellence – Alan Salmon Lifetime Achievement Award (2019).
To unite the bookkeepers of Canada, I co-founded CPB Canada in 2007 ( https://cpbcan.ca ), where I served as a Past Chair of the organization and participated in creating the Canadian Certified Professional (CPB) certification. As a Trifold instructor, I can continue giving back to my favourite people – bookkeepers!
I live on the sunshine coast of British Columbia with my husband of 49 years and our dog Marlo, who often attends class.
