The SoMa West Community Benefit District (CBD) is a public-private partnership formed by property owners in Western SoMa to improve quality of life, build community, and promote economic activity.
Community Benefit Districts have a long history of improving the quality of life in San Francisco neighborhoods through investment in the community. CBDs work closely with City agencies to carry out their mission and are guided by a management plan. They are governed by a Board of Directors made up of property owners, business owners, and stakeholders.
