The Sooke Firefighter's Association, or SFFA, is the main body representing the Paid on Call Firefighters at Sooke Fire Rescue. The SFFA's focus is on team building, firefighter wellness, camaraderie and promoting a supportive work environment and positive station culture. Some of it's initiatives include benchmark recognition for years of service, family events such as BBQs and camping trips, etc. It also supports the Sooke Food Bank with it's Fill a Fire Truck and Santa Runs, and has sponsored Island Ignite and BC Breast Cancer Research.
