SOS Kilkenny CLG is an established and respected provider of supports to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism from Kilkenny City and County. We provide tailored support at all life stages in our community based supported homes and our day support locations. We offer opportunities for education and employment, the creative arts, horticulture, sport and community engagement.
Key Programmes include:
Work4Life: Work4Life is our employment support programme, co-funded by the Government of Ireland, through the Department of Social Protection, and the European Union. Work4Life supports job seekers with intellectual disabilities to find, maintain and progress in paid, meaningful employment.
The Access Academy: The Access Academy is a skills development programme co-designed by students with intellectual disabilities to provide the skills, knowledge and experience to find paid meaningful employment in Kilkenny.
Dreamtime Studio Hub: Dreamtime Studio Hub is SOS Kilkenny’s media centre. Dreamtime Studio Hub operates Dreamtime Radio, Ireland’s only BAI licensed radio station where all the presenters and content creators are people with intellectual disabilities. Dreamtime Studio Hub also offers photography courses and film-making.
