SOT Mission is a Not-For-Profit organization founded in 1997, dedicated to empowering vulnerable women and children in Kakamega County, Western Kenya, Africa. Our vision is to improve their standard of living by fostering confidence, independence, and a sustainable future.
Our projects encompass a holistic approach:
1. Children & Teens: Providing essential support for disadvantaged youth, including school fees, uniforms, and mental health programs.
2. Women & Girls: Empowering females through guidance sessions, workshops, and socioeconomic initiatives to promote independence and entrepreneurship.
3. Life Skills: Offering diverse three-month programs in agriculture, tailoring, and more, with a 95% success rate in employment and self-sufficiency.
4. Health & Hygiene: Conducting awareness campaigns and workshops to combat infant mortality, malnourishment, and infectious diseases while supporting maternal health.
5. Sport & Fitness: Promoting physical well-being and gender equality through community sports clubs, fostering confidence and leadership.
6. Gender Equality Addressing gender-based violence through prevention programs, legal support, and advocacy for accountability and unity within families and communities.
