Sotra Contracting AS - SOCON is a member of the SOTRA GROUP, including SOCON Norheimsund Sveis AS and Sotra Anchor & Chain AS.
SOCON has since 1980 conducted workshopservices such as maintanance, modification, repair, fabrication and installation of mechanical components to the Shipping-, Onshore-, Offshore and Subsea industry.
We are located close to Ågotnes, about 25 minutes outside of Bergen City Centre.
We also dispose our own deepwater quay (10 mtrs Depth) with ISPS approval for recieving larger motor vessels.
The company is certified in relation to ISO 3834-2:2005(welding procedures), NS-EN 1090-2 / NS-EN 1090-3 (CE-labeling), ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007, and is approved as supplier to the oil and gas industry through the Achilles supplierdatabase.
Today we're about 30 employees, several who are certified for offshore work and that has through the years performed larger and smaller assignments on both fluid and solid istallation on the Continental shelf.
For a long time we have conducted important missions for maritime and land based industries. With accumulated knowledge and experience our workshop is the right Choice for our customers.
