SOTTMAR.SA was founded in 1995, it was specialized in supply vessels chartering for oil companies, offshore petroleum services, and marine works.
Since 1998, and after the acquisition of SAROST, leader in marine services and chartering chase/tug work boat for offshore and onshore oil companies,
the board has decided to change the name and extend the activity of SOTTMAR to the maintenance of industrial and marine facilities and limiting
the manning of support vessels to shallow waters.
In January 2009 SOTTMAR extend its activities and penetrate the worldwide brands representation: MTU , TAILIFT , 2GARNI , DETROIT DIESEL, ZF, WACKER NEUSON, KONECRANES..
