Soul Kitchen Chester

Soul Kitchen Chester company information, Employees & Contact Information

Soul Kitchen Chester was started in 2015 to help those who were homeless in Chester and became a registered charity in 2022. We build relationships with people through food and help them get off and stay off the streets. We operate a drop in provision on a Saturday evening in Campbell Hall in Chester for anybody who is homeless, in temporary accommodation or struggling with food poverty or loneliness. At these sessions we provide hot drinks, hot meals, takeaway sandwich packs, toiletries, clothing and support. We also run cookery sessions called Soul in a Bowl in both Chester and Ellesmere Port where we build self-esteem, confidence and skills in teamwork, numeracy and cookery. Partnership working is at the heart of everything we do. We know that by working together we are stronger and can do more for the people who need it most, so we work with other organisations in Chester working with the homeless as well as Chester and Cheshire West Council. All working together to empower people to move away from the streets.
