About South Hemp
The company was established in June 2013 to make Industrial Hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) a viable reality for the agricultural, industrial and artisanal economy of Southern Italy. South Hemp Tecno set up the first pilot plant for the primary processing of hemp straw in Puglia, operational since the end of 2014. For 6 years it carried out the research and development on the pilot in the Taranto area, today the project continues in the Foggia area with a broader vision and focusing on an industrial plant with an hourly capacity of 2.5 tons.
