Spaceport SARABHAI (S2) is India’s 1st dedicated space think tank.
S2 embraces the multi-dimensional nature of human space endeavors comprising not just science, technology, policy, and law—but also—history, anthropology, economics, environment, sociology, psychology, contemporary culture, art, architecture, design, archaeology, and more.

S2 is conceived as a launchpad for ideas for a shared future. The name pays homage to the founder of India’s space program: Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, a physicist, a visionary, a renaissance man who believed that our cosmic commons can be used for the welfare of humankind and the biosphere of which we are a fractional part. Spaceport SARABHAI is a metaphor for an imagined place in outer space, where thought-leaders-n-practitioners touchdown to exchange ideas, points of view, and visions for the future.
Based in Bangalore, S2 has satellite presence in New Delhi, Berlin, Boston, and Sendai.
