Who We Are
Spanglish is a non-profit ESL-tutoring program founded in June 2020 by Carol Alata, Yocelyn Pina, Daniella Leon, and Valeria Leon as a response to the overwhelming inability of school-aged children in Peru to continue their education online during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team consists of more than 120 amazing volunteers that make everything possible!
Mission
Spanglish provides virtual personalized English classes to low-income students ages 7 to 18 years from Peru through the help of college and high school volunteers.
