“De SPAR” is opgericht in 1932 door Adriaan van Well te Zegwaart (nu Zoetermeer). Met ca. 13.000 winkels in 48 landen is SPAR inmiddels één van de grootste foodretailers ter wereld en altijd in de buurt.
SPAR ontwikkelt formules en modules om in dorpen, afgesloten wijken en in binnensteden de wensen van consumenten te kunnen invullen. Nederland telt ruim 240 zelfstandige SPAR winkels, gerund door ondernemers. Zij doen er iedere dag alles aan om het de consument gemakkelijk te maken.
