Specialist Policing Consultancy grew out of a desire to spread the learning and expertise gained by a small group of former police officers who were experts in specific policing fields.
We are recognised experts in a wide range of areas relevant to policing and security including research and investigation of human trafficking and modern slavery, child criminal exploitation, child sexual exploitation, anti-money laundering, capacity building, leadership, investigative interview techniques, victim support and protection.
We excel in designing and delivering training and capacity building projects across the globe. This includes undertaking training needs analysis, the preparation of training modules, providing supporting documentation, tools and other materials. We have trained police officers, border guards, labour inspectors, prosecutors, Judges, politicians, social services, NGOs and members of other civil society organisations, in investigating and preventing human trafficking with particular emphasis on child trafficking and exploitation.
We have delivered training and capacity building projects in over 30 countries on behalf of governments and international organisations including: the United Nations (UNHCR, UNODC, lLO, IOM), Europol (JlT Experts Group and Heads of National Units Group), INTERPOL'S Human Trafficking Expert Group, Council of Europe/GRETA, Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), lnternational Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), European College of Policing (CEPOL), The European Judicial Network (EJN) and the Academy of European Law (ERA) , Turkish lnternational Academy against Drugs and Organised Crime (TADOC).
As human trafficking and modern slavery specialists we are proud to work closely with human rights solicitors and lawyers to support the victims of human trafficking facing prosecution or deportation.
