Hi, I’m Spencer, or SpenceTF (middle and last initials).
Life began for me in the last three months of the 80s near the dream World of Walt Disney, yet I relocated to rural central Pennsylvania just before my sixth birthday.
I first used the name ‘SpenceTF’ as a pen-name for an action book series when I was nine or ten. The title SpenceTF stuck. I’ve been into filmmaking since 9th grade when I made a slapstick video for safety education called “Gold Safety” with my best friend, Nick. I have been working in the film industry for almost eight years now doing full length features, PSA’s, commercials, and music videos.
In 2010 I graduated from Grove City College in Western PA with my masters in Communication Studies. In 2012 I graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary with his Masters in Theology. Then I moved to Singapore on the other side of the planet and I was attending New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts to achieve my Masters of Fine Arts in film production. Yet, unexpectedly – the campus closed due to financial bankruptcy and I am now living in Fall City, WA.
I am transitioning from being on set to interactive design. I have a lot of experience in both graphic and web design from my indie film days and I hope to do this full time.
