CallMyDoc can be used after hours and during the day with automated workflows to deliver smarter and more efficient patient care.
After hours, it has an app that allows the provider on call to see who is calling them and why, to see a summary of the patient's chart, and to call the patient back with one button or have the app call the patient back. The entire call is documented on the patient's chart. One great example is that it streamlines prescription refills, since it can send the refill to the pharmacy, update the patient's chart, and then call the patient back about where to pick it up all on its own in 30 seconds.
During the day, CallMyDoc can be used for call overflow. If a live person cannot answer the phone or the phone is busy, CallMyDoc will answer the call, and transcribe the patient's request into one of 12 categories, and automatically send a task to the right staff to handle it. This can generate reports to enhance clinical and workflow decisions. These reports can also be used to provide predictive analytics for better workflow.
