Spiromagic is a Danish innovative company that designed and developed a smartphone-based spirometer aimed at pulmonary disease specialists, lung disease patients and individuals who are interested in the performance of their lungs. The telemedicine competent, self-monitoring device accurately measures respiratory parameters including FEV1, FEV6, PEF and Ratio FEV1/FEV6.
Since 2012, Spiromagic has been continuously developing the device in collaboration with user-groups, leading professors in the respiratory area, Danish engineering company Move Innovation, industrial design company Sandholt ID and the Danish Lung Association.
Spiromagic has been successfully presented to lung specialists at the Danish Society of Respiratory Medicine and used during the European Spirometry Driving License (EDSL) training.
The prime ambition of Spiromagic is to provide patients an opportunity to obtain more effective treatment and a better understanding of their pulmonary condition.
