SPS Technology's Sandwich Plate System (SPS) is a transformational technology. This proprietary structural material comprises two metal plates bonded by an elastomer core, ElastocoreⓉ, manufactured by our partner BASF. SPS delivers a high strength-to-weight ratio and is an excellent alternative to reinforced concrete and stiffened steel. It has been used extensively in the civil, maritime, and offshore markets for nearly three decades.
In the maritime and offshore markets, SPS is approved by all major Classification Societies. It has been used to reinstate and strengthen vessels, assets and structures where corrosion occurs.
