SRIP Tovarne prihodnosti Overview

Within Strategic Research Innovation Partnership (SRIP) Factories of The Future we collect Slovenian research and innovation know-how and experience from relevant industrial and academia and highlight priority “break through” areas of new products, technologies and services. We build support environment with professional services for industry and research, concentrating on proved new top technologies, which will integrate and upgrade existing Slovenian research and innovation achievements. SRIP Factories of the Future consists of eight vertical value chains (robotic systems and components, intelligent control systems, smart mechatronics tools, intelligent laser systems, plasma systems, advanced sensors, new materials and smart factory platform) and seven horizontal enabling networks, providing key technologies (robotics, control technology, nanotechnology, photonics, plasma technologies, advanced technologies for new materials, information and communication technology). Industry and research knowledge platform provides industry and research organizations different services (workforce competences, intellectual property, internationalization, entrepreneurship promotion and sustainable-environmental issues) to make transitions towards Factories of the Future clear and focused. Using ”push pull” principle, with push coming from horizontal networks, cross-sectional areas between vertical value chains and horizontal networks generate new breakthrough products, technologies and services , which represent flagship projects directions in area of Factories of the Future. SRIP Factories of the Future creates and supports business and research synergies in the area of Factories of the Future for new products, services and technologies penetration on the global market with concentration on niche areas, thus putting Slovenia among the prominent European providers of such solutions.
