Nursing Assistant Training Program - 160 Hours
Prepares Nurse Assistant Students for the State of California Nursing Assistant Competency Evaluation. Certification is provided after satisfactory completion of the course program and passing of the CA State Exam. This course introduces students to the role of a nursing assistant with instruction in basic skills and competencies. Theory classes will be held in the classroom, and clinical hours will be at the contracted training facilities and laboratory.
Upon successful completion of the training, the graduate will be able to perform basic nursing skills such as vital signs, CPR and first aid, collect patient data, prepare patients for physical examinations, and assist nurses with patient care.
