Stabilisation Platform Overview

Die Stabilisation Platform unterstützt das Engagement des Auswärtigen Amts in Krisen- und Konfliktregionen weltweit. Sie besteht aus Expertinnen und Experten, die das Auswärtige Amt bei der Entwicklung, Planung und Steuerung von Projekten in komplexen Krisenlagen unterstützen und beraten. Mit der Stabilisation Platform gelingt es dem Auswärtigen Amt, dort präsent zu sein und weiter auch politisch agieren zu können, wo die Bedingungen am schwierigsten sind: Wo außer Militär und humanitären Akteuren oft niemand mehr hinkommt. Die Stabilisation Platform wird vom Auswärtigen Amt politisch und inhaltlich gesteuert. Organisatorisch ist sie der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) angeschlossen. In der Stabilisation Platform sind jene Vorhaben angesiedelt, die außenpolitisch besonders sensible Projektarbeit des Auswärtigen Amts in Krisenkontexten unterstützen: Risiko-Monitoring in hochkomplexen und volatilen Situationen (z.B. Syrien und im Sahel), gezielte Entsendung von Fachpersonal, methodisches Know-How etwa für Mediationsprozesse.
