Über zwei Jahrzehnte hat sich das Festival zu einem der Höhepunkte in der Schweizer Comedy-Szene wie auch in der Nidwaldner Kulturlandschaft entwickelt. Mehr als 100 Künstler:innen – von Emil über Helga Schneider oder Ohne Rolf bis hin zu Divertimento oder Hazel Brugger aber auch zahlreiche Newcomer – brachten rund 40'000 Besucher:innen im Kantonshauptort zum Lachen. Das Festival begann 2004 mit nur drei Vorstellungen und je 100 Zuschauer:innen im Chäslager Stans.
Das 20. und letzte Stans Lacht Humorfestival geht vom 10. — 175 Sept. 2024 über die Bühne.
