Stark Brewing Company has been in business since 1994. You will find us between the banks of the Merrimack River and Commercial Street in Manchester, NH. We started off as the Stark Mill Brewery, then underwent a facelift in 2000 and adopted the name “Milly’s Tavern,” named after the owner, Peter Telge's, favorite German Shepherd. In order to keep up with the times, we’re solidifying our image and changing the name of the brewpub at large to Stark Brewing Company – an homage to both our roots as Stark Mill and our namesake at large, Gen. John Stark. We were the first and only brewpub in the city, and have been brewing both traditional and more modern styles since our opening.
We decided to start bringing our beers to the public at large in early 2014. Now, we’re planning to expand beyond New England so more people can enjoy our award winning beers.
