Stars in the Sky is Michael’s legacy. A foundation with the goal of preventing sarcoma fatalities by raising community awareness of sarcoma in young people through the provision of free education on cancer and early symptoms. Stars In The Sky exists as a haven of support and empowerment for young individuals diagnosed with sarcoma. Young people are cancer’s lost generation, often forgotten in the middle and overlooked, leading to frequent misdiagnoses, delayed treatment and poorer outcomes. We are dedicated to supporting young people and their communities through their journey by: - Raising awareness in the community by emphasizing the importance of early detection through educational initiatives. - Empowering patients and their families with access to vital resources and information on sarcoma. - Raising funds towards advancing research for better treatments and ultimately finding a cure. - Create a space for grieving families and encouraging legacy work for young people who have lost their battles. Young people have more of a story to tell than anyone and it deserves to be shared. They are all stars in the sky, helping us, helping others from above.
