In this Start-up, Melt electro-writing (MEW), Near-field electrospinning (NFES), DLP (Digital Light Processing), Electrodeposition coating process, and FDM processes are used for Wearable electronic devices, Tissues and Implantes. Resins, masterbatch, and filament are specially formulated and manufactured.
Due to the limitations of manufacturing processes, the possibility of using polymer alloys or polymer composites is currently very low and expensive.
By modifying and developing processes and formulating new polymer composites, new markets are created for innovative products with high production speed and low cost.
By using low-cost processes, especially additive manufacturing, the ability to customize and produce new products with high speed and quality, even very fine structures, demand-oriented manufacturing, and application of micro and macro products is the core of what sets our product or service apart from the competition and makes it superior.
Start-up Polymer Smart Innovations is based in Tuttlingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany founded in 2024 by polymerist Dipl. Ing. Soheil Pilehvar. Tuttlingen site is strategically located in Southern Germany, the world center of medical technology. Around 5 0 percent of the global demand for surgical instruments is manufactured here and sold worldwide. This startup is supported in the early stages by Furtwangen University and As part of KickStart@HFU together with the BMBF ( Germany Federal Ministry of Education and Research).
