Starting Over is a non-profit association committed to rescuing and rehabilitating distressed animals and providing a haven for the rest of their lives. The majority of animals were rescued after suffering a miserable life of abuse, neglect, and slavery.
Thanks to public support, more than 1500 animals live in the shelter. The association operates many community programs for people with post-trauma, populations with intellectual or physical disabilities, youth at risk, and more.
