About Us
The Stay Safe Global Charitable Trust (SSGCT, Registered Charity No. 1199913)
was established in 2022. Our initiatives focus on abuse and trauma-informed
coaching awareness programs in sports, along with global empowerment projects for
survivors. Collaborating with a board of expert trustees, SSGCT has formed
impactful partnerships with organisations like UK SAYS NO MORE and Hestia,
amplifying efforts to raise awareness and support survivors. The Stay Safe
Charitable Trust leads the way in advocating for safe and supportive environments for survivors of abuse and violence.
Our Mission
Established with a vision to counteract the pervasive issues of domestic abuse and sexual violence, our mission is laser-focused on empowerment through education, training, and comprehensive support services. We are dedicated to empowering individuals and organisations to identify, prevent, and respond to abuse and violence effectively.
Our goal is to pave the way for a society that not only recognises the signs of abuse but is also equipped
with the tools and knowledge to offer support and foster safety for survivors, keeping survivor experience at the heart of all our programs.
What We Do
- Abuse Awareness in Sport Training: Accredited by official CPD partners, this
program is designed to empower sports clubs, coaches, and organisations with the essential skills and knowledge to support survivors, creating inclusive and informed sports environments.
- Advocacy: We tirelessly work towards societal and policy changes to confront and mitigate the root causes of abuse and violence. Our efforts include combating online misogyny and promoting gender equality.
- Community Engagement: Through awareness campaigns and local initiatives, we aim to challenge stigma, spread empathy, and foster understanding towards survivors of abuse and violence.
