Stella Maris Public School was started in 1999 as an English medium school. Considering the needs of the local people, the management converted the school into ICSE Syllabus in 2005.The school is owned and run by the society known as Congregation of Mother of Carmel ( CMC) Vimala Province, Ernakulam. The school is situated in Udayamperoor Panchayat, Ernakulam District, which is a convenient and easily reachable place.

The principal aim of the school is to impart quality education without any compromise to this modern world. This is a Christian minority instituition providing co- education and the only affiliated school with ICSE syllabus in this area. The instituitions run by the same management are reputed Teacher Education (B.Ed.) College, M. Ed. And TTI and aided L.P, U.P, High school and Higher Secondary Schools in Kerala and other states.
