Step Back Leadership Consulting was founded by Jason Barger, a motivational speaker, leadership coach, culture and service visionary. Through his books, leadership consulting, culture-shaping and motivational keynote speeches, he passionately strives to help companies develop their people, culture, service and clarity of mission, vision and values for the future so they can make a positive impact on the world. A dynamic storyteller, Jason delivers over 50 keynote speeches around the world annually. He's spoken for iconic brands such as Nationwide Insurance, Discover, SHRM, TEDx, as well as at international Global Leadership Conferences. His books—Thermostat Cultures, Step Back from the Baggage Claim and ReMember—have drawn international acclaim. Prior to founding Step Back, Jason spent 10 years leading a team to build 125 houses internationally for families living in poverty and developed a program to serve the homeless on the streets of Columbus, Ohio. In 2004, Jason received a Jefferson Award, a national award given to “Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things.” In 2014, Business First named him one of their “40 Under 40” award winners.
