The STI Hub, Leh, Ladakh is a collaborative project by CSIR-IMTECH, Chandigarh, PGIMER, Chandigarh, NIELIT, Jammu, and NIELIT, Leh. The project is funded by the DST-SEED (abbreviated for Science for Equity, Empowerment, and Development Division) under the aegis of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. It is the first STI Hub in Ladakh, UT.
The STI HUB aims to promote the concept of growth through innovations, applications of technology of social welfare, support for healthcare and promotion of a traditional knowledge base supported with proven scientific knowledge.
