Jillian Straus founded Straus Strategic Communications to teach individuals and corporations how to capture and maximize media attention. As a media coaching and consulting company, Straus Strategic Communications prepares A-list celebrities, spokespeople, executives, professional athletes, politicians, best-selling authors, and other experts for television, radio, and print interviews, as well as other off-air presentations. A fifteen-year media veteran and one of the few professionals in the business who’s worked both behind the scenes and in front of the camera at the national level, Jillian Straus brings unmatched expertise and a uniquely personal approach to one-on-one media coaching and consulting. During more than a decade working in television, Jillian produced live and taped shows for local, cable, and network news, including CNN and ABC News. As a producer for eight years at The Oprah Winfrey Show, Jillian covered some of the biggest news stories in recent history, from the O.J. Simpson trial to the September 11 attacks. She interviewed many of the world’s most sought-after personalities including Bono, Jennifer Aniston, and Ben Affleck. Jillian has worked with some of today’s most influential public figures, such as Rudy Giuliani and Dr. Oz. In February 2006, she published her first book, Unhooked Generation: The Truth About Why We’re Still Single, based on her interviews with more than a hundred single Gen X men and women.
