Street Velodrome is the world’s most accessible live cycle sport event – an award-winning, pop-up event solution which brings the drama and theatre of track cycling to the heart of the public, to both engage with people and to inspire a new generation of cyclists.
With these two guiding principles, StreetVelodrome has gained support from British Cycling, HSBC, Asda and main leading bike retailers.
Central to the velodrome’s structure are two dramatically banked corners which allow riders to experience the thrill of Olympic-style cycle track racing and set their own PB’s. The rest of the equipment forms a highly-branded fanzone area and is full of atmosphere with live music and celebrity presenters keeping spectator crowds entertained.
As well as offering community programmes, Street Velodrome can also bring Bike Party to the heart of an event – a highly charged pro race programme with intense racing and exciting spills and drama, all supported by guest DJ’s, extreme performances and Ibiza-style partying.
