We are a Students' Scientific Group set in the Department of General, Transplant and Vascular Surgery of the Medical University of Warsaw. Our aim is to popularize medical knowledge beyond the programme of the university, especially in the practical form. Our main project is a Scientific Conference "Faces of Transplantology". The last two editions were a great success and we hope to repeat it in the future. Our students share a passion for science and surgery. Each month we organise meetings about a variety of surgical cases and problems. Our members can participate in suturing and ultrasound workshops, start their scientific career by presenting at conferences and writing scientific papers. It is also possible to attend shifts in the hospital in both Emergency Room and OR. During summer we organise scientific camps, where students can combine gaining surgical experience with resting with friends. We are interested in beginning new cooperation.
