StuRa stands for ‘Studenten Raat’ which translates to ‘Student Council’. We are the mediators between students and faculty, so we collect feedback, support the students in their issues with the study and help the faculty to develop new semesters. On the other hand, we feel responsible to keep the ‘Leisure Family’ alive, making Leisure a personal, close, and welcoming study for everyone. We do that by organizing parties (also known as ‘Pleisure Parties’), game shows, and other social events.
StuRas mission is to be attentive to the students’ „circle of concern“, so the things they cannot directly influence in school, and to support the students as much as possible by making their voices heard. By creating meaningful experiences StuRa wants to strengthen the bond of the Leisure Family, and other studies and to give students and coaches the feeling that the time spend on „StuRa activities“ is well invested. Overall, StuRa can be considered the heart of the study.
