• Recruitment of crew, visa processing,Collecting required documents from candidates as per client requirements.
• Sourcing of suitable crew and officers for foreign and Indian principals.
• Briefing & Conducting Interviews for Sea officers/Crew.
• Coordinating & balancing between foreign delegates.
• Single loop system – From hiring to on board process.
• Determine sea-staff as per Minimum Safe Manning and Client requirement, skills and needs to meet the organizations objectives. Responsible for interviewing the officers/ratings. Coordinating with Marine / Technical team for interview of Deck/Engine officers.
• Ensure joining crew have copies of all relevant certificates and submit all required training, security pass, induction, optima etc. copies to crew before joining their ships.
• Ensures that vessels are manned with sea staff in accordance with the statutory manning regulations following all ISM, STCW , Flag State and ISM regulations with regards to certification. Save the documents in right folder/file.
• Ensure all crew has ILO medical valid before departure from home country to join the vessel as per requirement for flag endorsement/requirement.
• Ensure that crew joins the vessels with all the necessary documentations.
• Applying Flag endorsements for owned and managed vessels.
• Ensure timely crew changes by coordinating with on signer and off signer crew. Ensure each vessel rotation is planned with relievers. Crew rotation sheet should be updated on daily basis and saved in right folder for all to view.
• Arrange & prepare seafarer's CV with necessary documentation to submit to client for approval and coordinate for key officer interview with client/end client. When approvals are received from respective clients save the approvals in right folder/file.
• Ensuring that PPE is given to new joiner as well when there is ex-crew joining
