Sunroom is Ruby-Jean McCabe and Dom Miller, two Meanjin/Brisbane-based managers and Event Programmers with almost 30 years combined experience working in the Australian music industry.
Sunroom is a management company, guiding the careers of Asha Jefferies, Bugs, Flamingo Blonde, Hope D and VOIID. Sunroom is also part event programming company, with Ruby and Dom programming the QAGOMA Up Late series, BIGSOUND Showcases - the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest festival of new music - as well as Valley Fiesta, Big Summer Block Party and Queensland Music Awards. They currently book Kingscliff Beach Hotel and have previously programmed BIG Festival in Geelong, Mountain Goat Valley Crawl and Story Bridge 75 Festival. They also have a long history of booking music venues across Queensland including but not limited to The Zoo, Black Bear Lodge and The Milk Factory.
This is in addition to previously working as agents for one of the country’s biggest and most successful artist booking agencies, New World Artists, where they worked with and booked shows for artists such as Mallrat, Grinspoon, Luca Brasi, Allday, Sneaky Sound System and many more, for over five years.
