Sunshine Community Compost's mission is to strengthen community connections and give back to the planet through accessible education and action that increase local composting, resource recovery and zero waste efforts.
We teach learners of all ages about the benefits and charms of composting while also providing food scrap drop-off services, business composting, apartment composting, zero waste services and consultation, as well as hosting an International Compost Awareness Week event. We aim for our work to transform hearts, minds, food scraps and help re-vision the construct of waste to begin with.
