Support for Sustainable Communities

We are a group of Afghan humanitarian sector experts who have worked in Afghanistan for 20 years and facilitated aid programs for returnees, internally displaced people, refugees, and host communities. After the fall of the Afghan government in August 2021, we reallocated to Türkiye. We joined a group of like-minded Turkish experts to resume our work in Afghanistan as well as support refugee and host communities in need of assistance in Turkey. The organization name “Support for Sustainable Communities (SCC)” comes from our project implementation approach, which involves communities and ensures they progressively move toward resiliency.
