Sustainable Finance Group is a student club dedicated to exploring the intersection of finance, sustainability, and public policy.
We recognise that public policy is a driving force behind the allocation of resources, investment decisions, and the adoption of sustainable practices in the financial sector. Our club seeks to delve into the intricate relationship between public policy and sustainable finance, understanding how policy frameworks shape the trajectory of environmentally and socially responsible investments.
We intend to enhance student's knowledge in this field by offering various educational activities such as panel discussions, skill-building workshops, case studies, informative site visits, and networking dinners. Our goal is to provide students with valuable market insights, focusing on topics like socially responsible investing, green and climate finance, sustainability-linked bonds, carbon markets, and climate change and policy. As Southeast Asia transitions to a green economy, It is projected to create more than 30 million jobs by 2030, This club is committed to providing exposure to students for promising career insights in sustainable finance and green job opportunities.
