One day in March 2020, Arjan took on the most turbulent project he had ever done at DSM
(a global material & life sciences company).
With only 3 days of face mask supply left, this situation was urgent for several hospitals in the emerging pandemic.
Without a national alternative ecosystem, time was ticking, thinking of all the unprotected people.
1,5 months later Arjan manufactured a National "Minimal Viable Ecosystem".
With several key partners, corporates, and SMEs, we were able to manufacture 1 million face masks per week.
